| We meet once a month at various member cities and towns. Therefore, we tour a different wastewater facility each time. After the tours, we meet up for dinner, meeting, and a presentation at a conference room, restaurant, catering facility or we even have had picnics at the wastewater facilities themselves. You do not have to attend both the tour and the presentation to receive a contact hour. They are submitted separately for approval. In other words, you may come for the tour of the facility and receive one contact hour and not stay for the presentation or vice versa, if time will not allow you to attend both. |

The Indiana Water Environment Association is looking for plant profiles to be featured in its magazine,
“The Digester”. If you would like to submit your facility please contact Joe Little at jlittle@indianawea.org or
call him at (317) 686-2664. You can also submit it yourself by going to I.W.E.A.
The basics would include:
• Brief plant history (if possible)
• Description of plant & individual processes (including solids handling)
o design flows/loadings
o average flows/loadings
o NPDES permit limits
• Staffing
• Anything special/unique about the plant
• Any current/active plant projects
• Include good, professional grade photos
• Someone at facility must be an IWEA member

JOB OPENING!!! The Town of Palmyra is looking for a Class I Licensed Operator or Higher, or someone with at least two years of relative experience who is willing to become licensed at the next exam period. This is a full time position that requires on-call status for emergencies and therefore they need to preferably live within a 25 mile radius of the town.
